A Temple Tent
We have some friends who bought a yurt some months ago
when they moved into a new farm atop a hill.
Their vision was and is to have an open place
where they can invite community to gather
as Life becomes more challenging -
for it is in the coming together in love
and acceptance that we are able to grow
through the challenges and live
more glorious and fulfilling lives
of manifested desire AND service.
Christal Temple has had the privilege
to use their yurt for many of our ceremonies -
a "joint venture" if you will.
There have been many more joint ventures
of this type here in Nova Scotia recently.
The other week my partner
brought home a "dome tent" -
it's 6ft high in the middle -
not quite sure why, but knowing it was
the right thing to do.
(The tent was on sale,
"begging" to be noticed!)
And then, suddenly, the idea came -
put up the tent as a Temple -
a kind of moveable tent of an ark-of-the-covenant
while-we're-still-working-on-where-and-how...
It's opposite the house
in front of the forest.
So now I
"go up to the Temple and pray."
(Feels very biblical!)
It's having an interior effect
that I can't put my finger on,
but changes are taking place,
"stuff" is shifting.
Amazing what putting up a tent
can do!
Blessings
in this continued wonderful summertime
